Before getting started in the course, there are a few things we'll need to check. Some items are your browser, your computer setup and whether you may be using your smartphone to access your course(s). It's not uncommon to have an outdated browser cause some big headaches in your online course!

Start-up Checklist

Review the page on the Browsers that Canvas Supports. Be sure to read through the section on "Browser Privacy Settings" and check your browser to ensure they are set up correctly. Be sure to click the Back button on your browser to return to this page. You can also right click on the Browser link to open the page in a new tab.
It's a good idea to have two browsers installed on your device(s). Some features will work on one browser that don't work on another.
Note: There are known issues with submitting assignments using the Internet Edge browser.
You may want to bookmark the Student Canvas Guides (Links to an external site.) as they are a great resource for anything Canvas.
You'll find Canvas student guides for the web and mobile interfaces, written instructions as well as video.
You may also want to download the Canvas Student app. Note: the app does not support all the features available in Canvas nor does it replace the need for a computer to complete all course work.

Successful Course Completion

In order to successfully complete this course, you must complete all activities and get a 75% or better on the quiz. After successfully taking the quiz, you will receive your badge for the course. Follow the onscreen directions to obtain your badge.
